Fun place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location is great, easy walk to downtown. Onsite parking.

Stayed for two nights, and was very happy at this hotel. Movie Colony is well managed and the Front Desk staff is very friendly. Everyone I ran into could not be more helpful. My room was large well maintained and clean. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Movie Colony for a wonderful visit.

Second time here. Small and quiet. Walking distance to town. Staff is very friendly. The room is nice! Had an outside patio.

Staff was friendly delightful also a wealth of knowledge on the local events, restaurants, and happenings around town. Also fantastic recommendation on shopping we hit up the estate sale place on E Palm Canyon Drive grabbed some great peices for my home and my friend also picked up a few. Rooms were clean and spacious housekeeping staff also was beyond courteous and helpful. My friend lost his wallet and couldn't locate it when we were leaving but the staff actually found it and FedEx it to him within a day he had his cards and all his cash, yes it was not missing anything the next day. Thank you everyone for a terrific vacation and stay. I for sure will be back soon to enjoy the pampered life. Thanks.

The best hotel this year. friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff rooms are excellent. It's quite no complaints on room and staff. My frustration was the fact tht due to the lobby closing at 8pm and tht u can't order food from the sister Hotel triada and if u lose your room key u have to 2 wait until the lobby re opens at 8am.

Well, I've finally found My Spot in Palm Springs. It is like the best of an airbnb and a hotel, all in one. I had a king suite with private balcony for less money than a basic room everywhere else and it was fresh and mcm darling and spotless. Immaculate pool area with heated pool, hot jacuzzi, and adults only. Frequently, the manager Nate and his assistant Olivia would swing by the pool just to see if I needed anything and offer me a free frozen ice cream or something. Crazy! The room had a coffee maker and fridge, and a few steps away was an outdoor kitchen with microwave I could use and a GREAT ice machine. Best of all are the mountain views and central location... smack dab in between the Downtown district and Uptown Design district. So easy to explore both on foot, although free parking was readily available. Can't wait to return! See you soon Nate!

My husband and I have been coming to Palm Springs for years, but this the first time staying at the Movie Colony Hotel. Our experience was wonderful. My husband was having hip issues, so we were not able to do the things we usually do - hiking, biking, golfing, etc. The hotel was relaxing, quiet and very inviting. We were able to enjoy some much needed sun on our private balcony. It was absolutely lovely. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We love kids and dogs, but we were very much in need of peace and quiet, and this hotel offerred exactly what we needed. We will definitely return.

Real rating a 4.5 stars. Excellent service from Nate I think his name was. They gave amenities at the pool which is mostly a 5 star hotel kind of thing. There was a wine and cheese hour, complimentary breakfast. Room was clean with a big private balcony It was great. Only complaint was the bathroom door which was on a sliding rack that didn't close the door all the way and gave no privacy at all. But besides that would definitely go back!

My new favorite place to stay in Palm Springs. The room was so cute and opened up to the pool/hot tub area. Daily happy hour was a great time to mingle with the other guests either in the lobby or by the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. And Nate at the front desk was a delight. You can always tell how good a hotel is by how they handle a problem. There was an issue with the pluming in our room. We were moved to another room while ours was being fixed and then back to a spotless room for the rest of our trip. We will definately be staying here again. Added: we stayed here 2 more times. And will be coming here everytime we are in Palm Springs. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A great hotel to stay if you want to really relax.
