Great location, small place but plenty of amenities. I particularly like that no children are allowed. The oil is a great size, lots of seating, and shade options. I've also appreciated the reception drinks and snacks. It's a great place to stay alone, as a couple, or your can get the bigger suite room for a small family.

We recently held our 40th High School Reunion at The Movie Colony Hotel during the last weekend of May, and it exceeded every expectation. We rented the entire hotel for our three-day celebration, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was exceptionally hospitable, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. No request was too small. Everyone went out of their way to make our group feel comfortable and cared for throughout the weekend. The hotel’s charming atmosphere, beautiful grounds, and intimate setting created the perfect environment for reconnecting with classmates and creating new memories together. Coordinating an event of this size could have been challenging, but the team made everything seamless with their professionalism, flexibility, and genuine kindness. Many of our classmates commented on how special the experience was and how warmly they were treated during their stay. The staff’s dedication played a major role in making our reunion a tremendous success. We did a buyout of the hotel for three days for an event. Their sales director Jessica was so easy to work with. She took care of all of our needs and was very efficient and professional. Nate and Aleen, two other team members of the Hotel, took care of every detail of our trip. We had over 35 people stay, and everyone were impressed by the service and efficiency of the entire team.

My husband and I have been coming to Palm Springs for years, but this the first time staying at the Movie Colony Hotel. Our experience was wonderful. My husband was having hip issues, so we were not able to do the things we usually do - hiking, biking, golfing, etc. The hotel was relaxing, quiet and very inviting. We were able to enjoy some much needed sun on our private balcony. It was absolutely lovely. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We love kids and dogs, but we were very much in need of peace and quiet, and this hotel offerred exactly what we needed. We will definitely return.

Real rating a 4.5 stars. Excellent service from Nate I think his name was. They gave amenities at the pool which is mostly a 5 star hotel kind of thing. There was a wine and cheese hour, complimentary breakfast. Room was clean with a big private balcony It was great. Only complaint was the bathroom door which was on a sliding rack that didn't close the door all the way and gave no privacy at all. But besides that would definitely go back!

As a small hotel this ia a fantastic option. Syper relaxing vibe. Quiet chill and private. If you want extra level of privacy, get an upstairs room with private balcony. Was really glad I chose to stay here.

My new favorite place to stay in Palm Springs. The room was so cute and opened up to the pool/hot tub area. Daily happy hour was a great time to mingle with the other guests either in the lobby or by the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. And Nate at the front desk was a delight. You can always tell how good a hotel is by how they handle a problem. There was an issue with the pluming in our room. We were moved to another room while ours was being fixed and then back to a spotless room for the rest of our trip. We will definately be staying here again. Added: we stayed here 2 more times. And will be coming here everytime we are in Palm Springs. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A great hotel to stay if you want to really relax.
