The Rumors are True...

This review is a little over due.... Date of stay: July 2020 First time staying @ Movie Colony Hotel. Where do I even begin... Nate the manager provides the most impeccable service! I had some trouble finding the parking as it was my first time, Nate walked outside, pointed us in the right direction, walked us inside, checked us in and showed us around the place & walked us all the way to our room. He is genuinely friendly and goes out of His way to ensure you have the best stay possible. Mind you we did go during covid & still had an amazing time. Yes you MUST wear a mask while walking around which we totally respect. Pool- The pool was open, you must wear your mask while walking to the pool. Everyone does social distance in the pool area. Pool is large and very spacious. There is plenty of spaces to sit / lounge with your little group. Rooms- Rooms are beautifully decorated & extremely spacious. Each room has a balcony or little patio of its own. (love this!) Hotel overall- The hotel is very clean & beautiful. We will definitely be coming back soon! The Movie Colony is ADULT only & pet friendly. You can lounge/ hang out by the pool without worrying about having too many people. During the weekend I was there we even swam at night. I 100% recommend the hotel. Thank you again Nate! You definitely made us feel at home & welcome. Your hospitality left such an impact we told all our friends about you, oh and about the hotel too. I love small and historic hotels; this one hits the mark on both. It’s intimate yet private, desert modern yet cool retro style. White and turquoise touches, Corian sink, glass chiclet shower tiles. Quiet and clean. Great feel in courtyard with many nooks to chill in cushioned chaise lounges plus hot tub and chill music playing around bar area. For those that appreciate artistic touches. Thank you, Nate!

We stayed Sept 26 thru Sept 30 2019. We were greeted by Nate, who made us feel very welcome. The room was very quiet and clean, we had a king suite downstairs and it was pleasant. The room was large and the bed was quite comfy! We will stay here again. The location was great.
